Industrial loft in London

There are people who love the industrial decoration and there are other people who they feel cold. I am one of the passionate ones of this decorative style, that although in appearance can be less welcoming actually has a lot of personality and can be equally warm. This, of course, is a matter of taste. And for those of us who are passionate about this type of interior, the virtual walk that we do this Tuesday is dedicated.

It is a loft located in one of the most fashionable areas of London, in Shoreditch, an alternative neighborhood with much urban art in which factories and streets are whose aesthetic invited to live in houses of this style, leaving almost intact Story behind its walls. This was what the owners of this apartment wanted, with a strong industrial flavor that does not hide their past, but keeps it alive.

Colors and materials

To decorate this London loft has used a palette of warm colors, surround. In this industrial design, the iron is mixed with large windows that provide plenty of natural light, the brick seen in orange and reddish shades or the wood with blue tiles in the bathroom. Very interesting combinations with lots of personality.

The layout of the loft

This way, in the lower part we find a large kitchen with wooden floors and details of tiles under the island, connected to a dining room where the warmth of the table wood and some furniture with the character Industrial iron chairs and shelves. In the living room stands the wall of brick and large glass door that separates this room from the rest, to one side, and an elegant gray door to the street to the other.

The bathrooms

The bathrooms have a marked retro style, with tiles that give a touch vintage to the environment and blend perfectly with the wood used in furniture. In one of them we see the floor with tiles, with an iron furniture and wooden countertop; we see another tiled in blue tones on the wall and cabinet air also wooden, and a third decorated with a staircase and wood which is also combined with tiles in this square case in black and white.

The basement of this loft has become a space for the holidays, with a kitchen and a large dining table surrounded by many chairs, all different. The orange and red colors lead this space, where we also see a brick wall, hanging bulbs on the ceiling, metallic shelves and many special details. The TV area is surrounded by comfortable sofas, a perfect place to relax with friends.
