Important to protect your home during remodel

During a home remodel, it’s important to protect the work you’ve already done. Certain types of jobs require you to paint the floors first before moving on to the rest of the work, but this can get in the way. You have to work more carefully after painting your floor to ensure it doesn’t get damaged, and when you paint the walls you have to make sure no paint gets on the floor itself. And you have to do all of this while the floor continues to cure.

It sounds impossible, but it isn’t. Certain types of flooring protection allow the floor underneath to breathe while you continue your work. This means you are able to continue work within the room without worry that you’ll cause inadvertent damage to the floor. While there are a lot of different brands of protective coverings for the floor, TRIMACO® floor protection uses a spill-blocking technology to prevent any liquid from reaching the floor underneath. It does double duty, and means one less material you need to keep track of.

This also prevents larger materials like nails and other forms of debris from damaging the floor while you work in the rest of the room. It’s the perfect covering for a home renovation. After all, no one wants to drag out a home renovation project longer than necessary; you’re ready to move into your new home, and literally waiting for paint to dry is a test of patience on the best of days.

The items come in packs of 12 or 9, at 35″ x 50′ and 35″x100′ respectively. No matter the size of the floor, you can find a size of covering to fit it. Keep in mind that this is a temporary cover, however; it isn’t meant to last forever. You’ll need to remove it after the floor has finished curing and you’ve completed the renovations.

This protective material is made in the United States and allows the floor underneath to breathe. It’s easy to use, lays flat, and is more than twice as thick as traditional floor coverings. When the job is done, you’ll have no trouble picking it up off the floor. You don’t have to be a professional contractor to make use of professional grade materials, and this floor covering means your freshly-painted floor will be kept safe no matter what job you have to do.
