An effective trick to remove dents timber in 30 seconds

To recover the damaged wood furniture need not spend a fortune on specific products. Just consider some home tricks to fix them in seconds.

Most of us have one or more wooden furniture at home, with which we decorate and give a cozier look. However, after acquiring them, we ignore these require very special care to be kept in good condition for long. Although much of life depends on the quality of the wood, the treatment we give it also plays a very important role to not look damaged prematurely.

How to remove dents timber in 30 seconds?

Before sharing the steps to remove dents on wooden surfaces it is important to make clear that it is not useful when the area has been hollowed too.

In the latter case it is best to seek some type of filler to hide it, or sanding to level. The trick that we’ll share below what can be used in doors, tables, furniture and other wood areas that have bumps or marks moisture.

You will need

  • 1 Iron
  • 1 Fine cloth
  • Water (required)

Step 1: To begin with, you’ll have to pour some water on the wooden dent, like you want to fill.

Step 2: Then, color the cloth over the surface, so that absorbs water.

Step 3: At high temperature, iron the cloth a couple of minutes, until the water dries completely.

Step 4: Apply pressure with a short iron, making circular motions and dropping a few seconds so that the cloth does not burn.

Step 5: Remove the plate and cloth, and discover a new look in your timber.

Other tricks to restore your wood surfaces

In addition to the method for attenuating dents, there are a number of tricks and tips that we can improve the wood when it starts to look aged.

By having the opportunity to restore them as easily, you’ll realize that there is no need to spend on new furniture.

Cover scratches

To conceal scratches in the wood takes a cotton swab; I did it in coffee grounds moist and apply to the affected area. Wait 10 to 15 minutes and rub with a cotton towel to remove excess.

Remove stains

Water stains or ink can be removed easily with a simple solution rapeseed oil with white vinegar. Both penetrate the surface and allow the brand withdraw without leaving a sticky feeling. You only have to apply the products on wood with a microfiber cloth or cotton.

Hide cracks

If the varnish wood cracks, but the painting is in perfect condition, takes some nail polish transparent and apply it in the damaged area.

Paint Repair

Over time, some parts of this material begin to look faded. Fortunately, thanks to coconut oil can enhance their color while we give a protective layer. Apply a small amount of product and rub with a cloth to leave a smooth surface.

Remove watermarks

After putting a glass with water or other element on the wood can be a pretty unsightly circular spots. No matter how old are these brands, a little mayonnaise, let it rest 30 minutes and remove it with a clean cloth. You’ll be surprised!
